Rot at the bottom of Cabin bulkhead? That should be one of the drier spots on that boat. I'm betting if its rotted there, than it has some other issues starting in either the stringers or floor.
$7000 on a good day, $6000 is a deal and $6500 is fair. |

Regarding the bulkhead, the cabin deck material was plywood on these boats, which can easily rot under sections of the carpet, especially around the edges of the storage wells. I found this on the one I bought, cut the section completely out, and re installed better than new. It's easy. Not sure if he is indicating the cuddy FLOOR is soft, but interested parties can find out easily enough by asking. Probably not courteous to beat down a sellers posting, especially if you're not a buyer. |

If it is the bulkhead I'm thinking, it is not structural at all. Just a piece of 1/2 inch ply wood.

Bennett, the original poster is not the seller so don't worry about me being courteous. Anything posted on this site is subject to comment, even that overpriced V-21 your so proud of.

My V21 isn't overpriced - it's an investment bubble - if people are willing to pay over $ 100,000 for the 96' model, then that's the market price. You can certainly refer to it as overpriced............and when comes time to sell your own V ........ list yours for $ 500 assuming all in excellent condition. |

If I had the cash, I'd be more than will to make the drive up there to take a look. Not willing to give the price he wants but depends on what I'd find too.
