Top Speed??

I finally got my 1991 V-20 CC on the water last thursday at a local lake. Just wanted to check out all systems before heading offshore.
Max speed with 1992 200 hp Yamaha was 48.9 on GPS at 5300 RPM. No T-top 1/2 tank of fuel 1 person.
Boat handled great but really needs hydraulic steering. I could trim engine untill it was nuetral steering. I just prefer not to have any torque steer.
I am installing a Navman Fuel flow system today. I will post all performance and fuel consumption numbers next week some time.
After reading directions it looks very easy.
Ordered T-top/leaning post last friday. Will take one to two months before intall is done. Just before tuna season I hope.

Has anyone installed an additional fuel tank inside the console yet??

Not sure if I am going to do this yet. Want to get fuel numbers first. I would like to get a 200 mile range if possible.
