Default Hey Tsubaki...

I think we are about to buy a lot near Isle of Hope on the Herb tributary. It is at the very end of the tributary almost to the power lines if you look on Bing Maps. It already has a long dock to the water and even at low tide looks like I can float a boat.

What can you tell me about the Herb and have you ever been way up near the end. It dead ends into Skidaway Rd as you come into Isle of Hope.

Hopefully after we build this house I can take you out and let you show me all of you fishing holes!! I will of course feed you plenty of beer and boiled shrimp.

Sorry about not responding sooner, been out of town a few days helping my wifes family a little.
From what I remember the major portion of that creek after you get under the bridge at LaRoache is very shallow at low tide. Hey if you got a dock it don't matter, the fishing is better before or after the low tide anyway. Heck we usually have about 5' of bank in front of our float for a couple of hours at low tide, just always been used to it since I was a kid.
I "can" tell you about most anything about the Herb , the beer and food bribe is necessary. We had about the worst year most of us can remember with the Trout, Bass, Flounder and Skrimp but the Crabs were unbelievable in size, quantity and weight.
The seasonal runs of stuff up here differ a little than in the Wilmington, up until last year we had the ebb and flow of our quarry figured out.
Hopefully all the different stuff that's been consuming our attention for the last 6 months will play out soon. I missed both the Wassaw hunts, haven't set foot in Fort Stewart this season or even caught any fish to amount to anything. Dang, you sure you want to pick my brain?
Just let me know how your stuff progresses, I expect my crap to get out of purgatory soon. Just be patient with me.

I've got at least 4 of them off the top of my head. My problem is I'm usually out for blood, not to catch and look purdy.

Thanks blue, it'll pan out.
We've got 4 households depending on us for when they might need help, right now 2 of them do and we are keeping our promise. This is on top of being self employed and taking care of our own stuff.
We've just gotten spoiled doing whatever we've wanted to and whenever we wanted to do it.
It helps to whine or at least the wine helps.
