Default V20 Update

Just look what y'all got me into now ( V20 addiction?). Naw just kidding, thought I would throw in an update since getting the V back in Nov. So far I have the bottom paint stripped off, sanded and now reglassing a few scrapes and gouges on bottom and transom hidden by bottom paint. Also have cooling system removed from the ol 470, replacing manifold, riser, cam seals , and most accessories just so I know what I've got while I'm into it.
When the bottom is finished and ready for paint and engine back together then its on to the outdrive for a check out and service then add an axle to trailer and then, and then ,and then, well you get the idea.

Thumbs up

You're right Reel too many ideas too little time/$$. On the bottom paint I'm leaning toward PPG epoxy primer and acrylic enamel w/hardener which is basically an acrylic urethane. Pros and cons with any system so this is my choice as of now. Only painting below water line and transom and want to match the hull sides which are in good shape. Always willing to entertain others ideas tho.
