Talking

I can't decide if I love it or think it's just stupid to waste that much money on something like that.....I suppose whatever trips your trigger.

That thing is seriously badass. But some of those climbs and trails would have been a heck of a lot easier if he just used the gearing to crawl over them rather than getting over or through just by sheer horsepower.

so ya'll discovered my new hobby, I'm building a 4 seat buggy, its not going to be over the top like TC's stuff is(this is his 7th or 8th top shelf buggy build), but its not going to be a slouch either. If you've never done it, its a blast. Right now I've got my front and rear differentials ready to go, I have a mock up block, scatter shield, 465, 205 trans/transfer combo with a custom 12 degree adapter. I've got a 350 block at the machine shop being prepped to make a 383 with a set of Gm aluminum heads. I've also got the propane set up to run it on. we have 7 sticks of 1.75 DOM tubing that we are going to start bending in the next couple of weeks, when it starts to look like something, I'll post up some pics. BTW, some good friends of mine are racing at the King of Hammers race in Johnson Valley, Ca. They are competing in the Stock class, just finishing the race will be an accomplishment. If you want to read the whole thread(its quite entertaining) here's the thread http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=995866

I'l caution you, its a joke, so don't take it seriously, but its pretty funny(especially the people that think their serious) and its a difficult read(done in character) . They are selling T-shorts to help finance the trip, you can friend them on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/groups/291423197559841/
if you want to buy a shirt, sticker or coozy.

If you like watch TC's stuff, search for his other buggies Fat Girl, Jenny Craig, Green Goblin, you can also look for Busted Knuckle films.

as far as crawling those hills, that works out west with dry rock, on the east cost, there's too much growth and moisture on the rocks, even with sticky tires you have to carry some wheel speed, Tim gets a bit excessive about it, but he can afford to break parts that I can't
