Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone on here would know what the best way and the cheapest way would be to get the gas out of my tank. Going to be replacing it here this winter. Nothing like some good winter projects.

Inboard or outboard? Outboard, disconnect fuel line from motor, put end in a gas can as low as you can get it below the tank level, pump the ball and let it flow.
Inboard...hmmm.. . connect an outboard fuel hose with a ball to the tank and do the same

Get a manual pump from like Harbor Freight and go to town man. Do not use things like a shop-vac and the like or we will be seein your face thru a telescope while yer pickin up moon rocks. Hint,hint....Kaboom!

Some kind soul left a length of fuel hose w/a squeeze ball in the middle...I think he knew I's gonna have to empty mine when I got it home from NJ...took the sender off the top of the tank and ran the hose thru the transom drain down in the bilge...squeezed 'er off a few times and let 'er run...plan on spendin' some time, but it sure won't cost much...
Thanks, Pete...
