brings back some memories for some of ya'll

picked up a bushel on the way home tonight

not real big, but they sure were tasty
my steamer is still working good

I had some from the may river tonight they were wonderfull one of the local watering holes has free oysters on Saturday nights

Them are about the ideal size, very good spare!
Had some cluster/coon oysters Friday night, a real pain compared to those you got. Still good none the less.

That does it!!...hitch up the boats!!...makes me wanna have another Get Together!!...Spare those DO look good...that steamer of yours does the trick!!...some of the BEST oysters I ever had...

these were clusters, but they opened up easy, the tag said they came from Kiawah(harvested that morning), they were good, but not as good as those Blufton clusters.

I had forgotten those came from Bluffton...those REELY were good...

spare, great minds think alike. this is whats left of a bag of appalachicola's finest i picked up thurs night.

we had em fried , baked, & raw that night and nibbled on them fri for lunch and sat during the ball games.

I picked up a bushel last night from a friend who gets them out of Bulls Bay. They were in the water an hour before! It's that time of year!
