Default my new boat

about what i can afford at the moment. Actually my son and some classmates are building this for a engineering competition. they can only use single ply cardboard and a single role of duct tape. they have 30 min to build it then 2 kids have to get in it and paddle across the pool. this was a practice run and they did 4 laps before they got out. it was a bit cold today so my youngin was wearing his favorite sweatshirt.

Thats pretty awsome...are there rules on what kind of box they start with? They could use the waxed cardboard boxes like they ship fresh seafood in and it would keep on floating.
