I stopped at the gas dock and saw one with a Mercury engine on it when I was walking up to Fishermens Den to buy bait. Nice looking V. |

Yup, I guess so. Since I trailer to that area, was looking to say hello to fellow V owner. Really enjoying all the room on my new to me V. A pleasant break from the " tight" center console I had previously. |

In Delaware, a lot of the guys who own bigger boats all tell me that they love the V20, it is one of the best bay boats becasue of teh deep V for cutting through the chop and the smaller size for easy handling. Every time I wear my T-shirt, someone makes these comments.

The municipal ramp in Belmar is HORRIBLE. I sent an email to the mayor's office of Belmar regarding that ramp........no reply. It's a dangerous ramp set up - high risk of injury in my opinion based on: 1. un even concrete ledge high above the ramp and water - watch your step at all times. 2. the concrete ramp itself is busted up with deep, wide cracks and drop off points. Your boat is at risk even when coming back in - because the high wall next to the ramp doesn't even have car tires along it to protect your boat from the concrete structure. That's what I think about that ramp. I tend to use the " nice little ramp" just down the street from Mac's Bait and Tackle. Never had a problem there except for one time......had a little difficulty getting the boat back on the ramp during a very low tide - which was my fault. Belmar NJ is a real nice shore community - it deserves a much better ramp. |
