Default Guale Girl - 06.08.11 + priceless video

As posted by Pate from Coastal Outdoors -

Headed out to 2b and G Reef on the Guale Girl. First Stop was 2B to put some Spades in the Boat. Water temp was 81 degrees in the sound and 78 at the Buoy. To my suprise I did not see the first Cuda which made it a little easier to hop in the water. I shot a couple fish in the face and we headed to G reef. It was a pretty rough ride to G as the previous nights shenanigans caught up with me and I got a little Sick.
G Reef was fun and we went 2 for 4 on cobia with two heart breakers on the bigger fish. We had alot of breakoffs on the bottom that i think were ***(jeew)fish because we just never had a chance. A few AJ's and Seabass later we were back at 2b for an afternoon swim.
The Spades were not happy to see us. SSIredfish went on a shooting rampage that rivaled the last scene from Scarface."Say Hello to my little friend!!". I think we ended up with a dozen or so spades. Here is the Video: Warning this video shows someone (me) getting sea sick so viewer discretion is advised. I struggled with whether or not i wanted to post this but i figured if it made someone Laugh it was worth it. I had a great time and Henry is one Heck of a Captain on one Heck of a Boat.

Golden Isles Outdoors Video feat. Pate Hall - Priceless ending!!!!!

Very Very Cool!!!!

That's one way to chum..

but, seems like you didn't eat much for breakfast...

It is amazing (to me) that you could spearfish like that so close to the boat with only a mask.

thanks for sharing!!!

That video is great! Pate is hilarious. But man, if I had a dollar for every spadefish I passed on. Are they really that good? Kinda like trigger, I imagine, but I've never shot one.

The meat cooks up nice and white and is very good. I wouldn't say it was flaky but it kinda just pulls apart, I'm not sure, hard to explain, guess you are just gonna have to try it........
