Love the boat, nice work. If your center console is like mine the bracketed outboard is a bit stern heavy for thru hull drains. I would be 100% relying on check valves, especially true with my large arse standing at the stern. I Doubled up with some good 1500 GPH Rule pumps with redundant switches and an alarm to let the captain know when the uppermost sensor detects water. Secondary battery just in case it gets real wet.

Thanks guys!!!!!!
For the baitwells, those are TODD 13gal transom mounted wells. They aren't too bad, 100lbs a peice full but only when they have be!!! Here is a great story about them. Found em online for $92(ret. was $145) a peice then lost the link one week later and couldn't find it. Those wells have been discontinued so I called TODD(who also happened to have the price on the site I could no longer find) to see what they could do. Lady told me "No, no, they weren't ever that cheap, blah blah blah" very abrasively so also. Pissed off I hit the web to search hardcore for that price. After an hour I came across an Ebay listing with 4 for sale. BOUGHT 2 FOR $45 AND SHIPPED FOR $45. Both livewells for less than the price of one, delivered. I wanted to call that lady and tell her how securley I thought I could shove this livewell up her........ They are secured on top and bottom by those brackets you see and big fender washers behind the bulkhead. I left about 4" of clearence on the bottom for cleaning, etc.... I thought it would have looked nicer to run the intake hose back behind the well into the bulkhead just like the outflow.......after I drilled the holes....oh well, it still works...... RR - I have a MONSTER bilge in there(3000gph) I think and I keep a back-up/emergency 1500GPH in dry storage with 20' of wire, just in case I need YOUR battery........ Reel - The Yammy is da bomb!!!!! Did almost 90mi yesterday on 30g's!!!!! I'll start throwin some fishin reports on here as well in the future...... |

Blue, if you are ever gonna be in the area, hit me up. I'll show you the boat and put you on a big boy Redfish in an hour!!! Though I don't know why you would ever want to leave the "potential Fishing Capitol of the World"!!!!!!!!

Really nice boat, Henry. I guess I missed this thread, but it looks awesome. How'd you do this week on the water? How'd the trim tabs work out?
