Default Converting a Trailer to have Dual Duties

making my single jet ski trailer to have removable floor with fence like sides once done. but will still be able to lift off and use if needed to haul home a broken ski without towing my 4 ski trailer i want it to use hauling gas cans at the beach house without hauling them in my Tahoe.

here's what i set off today

here's the little trailer with just the deck part so far

but you see here what happened to my 4 jet ski trailer the spring hanger rusted off in that salt air but welded on a new tab ready to go again.

yeah that's one bad standup, i've spent a little over $5k in the motor and drive line on this ski. it's a factory looking 1989 440 Standup hull but from there it's a 575 bored and stroked motor with 245 compression ea cylinder a true circle 400 crank welded with blue printing and balancing. lightened flywheel MSD ign. lightened drive shaft bored pump with 15/19 vari ss prop, westcoast 6.5 gal tank. twin 44 mm race carbs. 6" exhaust, dual cooling, hp head and machined solid motor mounts with thru hull drive line support. it will GPS out at little over 78 mph in slight chop and 82+ in good to smooth water.

i am currently building it's evil twin with a turbo and twin 46 mm carbs. here's a link to that ski's repair job i had wrecked it bad real bad

Drewl.......
gotta go boatin sometime, turn the limit up on the v20 and see if I can hang with you.....LOL

I found an x2 today, weirdest thing, now just have to talk the guy into selling it.

Are you going to run fuel injection on the turbo? If you are, what computer? Not sure what you are familiar with, but the cars I have really gone radical with, I have been building my own, programmable computers. About 300 bucks, comes in a kit, so you gotta be good at soldering. They ROCK though. Good for up to, 30psi boost. Built in MAP on the board.

no it's a carb set up and soldering isn't an issue as i'm a board level electronics tech and data communications specialist at work
