Default hey hey

Just joined.

Ive got a 1990 Wellcraft 18 sport CC with a 89 Mariner 135 v6

Just wanted to say hi and ive been lurking for a while now.

Wanted to get some more information possibly.

My boat was given to me from my grandfather he bought it brand new in 1990.

I was wondering are there any areas i should look at for rot on the transom or deck. my stern starboard hatch on the bottom the floor broke where the battery sits. And wanted to know if its a common issue with them... and is there a bigger problem i might have underneath of that?

the boat has been kept elevated with the plug always out so water hasent been a real issue sitting there rotting away at things.

1st ones on me fellas. Cheers

Welcome to the site. Grats on the 18 CC... nice boats for sure. There are several ppl here that have them so I'm sure there will be a lot of info forthcoming... in the meantime make yourself at home, pull up a chair and relax... you're with friends now... oh, there is just one tiny little thing.... we love boat porn, so any pics of your boat will be a great favor to all of us.

Destroyer's right...particularly in helping us answer this specific a question...take the battery out if you haven't already and take some good close-up pics to post here...it'll help us help you...

And again, congrats on the 18!!...
