Reel, I wasn't even going to try and torque them back down. I don;t even own a torque wrench. And I am pretty sure the should be "head gaskets" there that also seem to be missing. I am going to meet Skool next weekend and entrust his judgement to whether it is salvagable

Clarification to earlier post.
Skool, yes I do have the lower unit, intact but it is detached, why I don't know. Maybe to replace impeller, may just because there were visible bolts??? I really think they just started removing any bolt they could access. As I ppointed out in the picture both head gaskets are unbolted, gaskets missing, as well as the the square cover with a spring unit inside at the top of the head gaskets, and the sensors on them are loosened as well. |

Here are pictures of the cylinder walls... I don't see any scoring of them, they all feel smooth to me. |
