I am less than 7 miles from there they had 2 tornadoes went through. I am worried about a friend who was in the path I been trying to contact him with no answers. National guard in In Springfield major damage in a 30 mile path .
Tornadoes are pretty rare in this part of the country but we had numerous tornadoes go just north of here less than 7-8 miles from here. WWLP tv 22 has cameras mounted on a build up about 30 stories facing the Connecticut River looking west.
