I have the same problem with my 18'.
I have been planning on making a splashwell so I only have to worry about the deck drains on the sides. I figured with moving my 2 batteries to the console, moving my livewell to the front of the console and making the splashwell I should be good. I just need to by some fiberglass supplies and find some time. I also believe my floatation foam is water logged which could add some serious weight depending on how bad. I have one soft spot on the floor so I have been planning on pulling it up and replacing the foam or going without foam, not sure yet. I have a tubal reversal surgery to pay for first and then I can start putting money back into the boat.
