It took a day or two to get the ball rolling on this one Ferm.
Nothing new IMO. That is the problem. Same song and dance, the music is the same, the dancers are fatter and slower but they know all the lyrics by heart. Complete Earwash, followed by floundering, indecision, sidetracked by conflict and overshadowed by wrongdoing and rhetoric from every direction. We have Gov. Rick Scott in FL. that is making some serious waves in our state politics. He has managed to piss off everybody including most of the Republicans. I have no idea how he plans to get anything accomplished at this point but I applaud him for doing what he said he was going to do. I cast a vote of NO CONFIDENCE in the Federation. That is how I feel, like Padame in the Star Wars movie, I have NO Confidence in the government. If it was only as simple as casting them all aside and resetting our Democracy for another 200 years or so. On vetting the newcomers to the dance: I had an elderly gentleman in the shop the other day, he said Congress should be forced to wear suits like NASCAR. Huh? ![]() Yep, they should all have to wear suits with patches sewn on that displays all of their backers and sponsors just like NASCAR. Then I thought of the badges I got as a cub scout. For a second I thought, we could build on that, then reality set in. For the idea to work, Congress would need to have pride, honesty, loyalty and integrity, right now we ain't got squat gentleman. We have collectively elected a group of people to represent our intrests that are the epitome of a disfunctional social group. Many can't manage their personal affairs let alone matters of the state. Congress is so caught up in their own brand of moral turptitude and greed, he// they can't pass the lithmus test of being as honest as a bunch of wet behind the ear 8 year old cub scouts. |
