this is one of my main problems to much difference in the slang i think i might be better in a aussie forum @MJ how do i leave this forum yhere seems to be nothing in the cp to do it with i hope im not a prisoner with and u yanks

Why do you have to leave? Several members, myself included, are members of other websites also. If you really wanted to leave, just stop coming here. People come and go all the time. But I really don't understand why you would want to leave. No one's attacked you in any way. As far as I can see everyone's always tried to be helpful with any questions you've had. Yes, there is a language problem sometimes, but it's not really a big problem. I, for one, enjoy your company. and I'm sure I speak for the majority of people here.

I understand your desire to build it bigger and better, but I don't think you are going to get the return from your time and money you are looking for with this combo.
well it will be stock in the sense of camshaft and the comp is 10.1 only makinf it breath better and raise its tork

Sounds like you are on the right track. use the KISS method, Keep It Simple Stupid, or the way I usually do it, Keep It Stupid Simple. BTW, if you go to the machine shop with this motor, have them look at the cam shaft bores. One of the issues with the 3.7 motors is they loose oil pressure after they get hot. the problem is the cam rides directly in the block, no cam bearings. There is a service replacement cam bearing that has to installed by a machine shop(cam bore has to be overboared then new bearings installed). Might be worth checking into see you're going this far

well thanks thats good to no i havent pulled the block out yet so they run the cam directly on the block like ohc engines well the oil pressure was good on the engine but will measure the bores of the cam to see how much clearance and i hope there not worn the could put a a big expense on the engine well thanks for that info i wouldnt even of checked them

hi guys i have decided to cut the end of the camshaft off and plug the hole in the timing cover and run a electric water pump and the fuel pump is going too replaced with a electric one

no reason to do that and you'll only complicate issues, , you'll never notice the difference in hp and only introduce another item to fail.

its not for power fuel pumps for these engine arent cheap and i dont think u can buy new ones and u can how long will it take for me to get one a electric pump i would have it on the same day and for the price of one i would more and likely keep a cheap one in the boat as back up and for the water pump i want to elimanate ever having water in the oil from a seal leakage and all new engine run alot of things with electric and how much more load does the water pump put on the timing chain well i dont like the idea so its going to be changed these pumps r that expensive
