Ahoy, gents
Glad to see some buzz about the shirts. All feedback is good. Destroyer’s neighbor is right…mostly. White and ash gray shirts are cheaper than colored shirts of the same shirt style number, which themselves are the same price, e.g. black, navy, green, gold, red all cost the same, which is more than a white shirt. But two things to consider: 1) if MJ goes with black shirts with white ink, you can’t offer a white or light gray shirt because the white ink won’t show. Well, you can offer an alternate shirt-color option, but you’d have to change the ink color and that’s a mess/hassle change it even once. Neighbor-lady can confirm. I have to clean the white ink out of the screen and then load up the other ink color. And 2) the logistics of taking the orders, submitting the consolidated production order to me, receiving the stuff, and then shipping everything out to individuals correctly sucks-***. I’ve done it. It’s not easy to keep track of everything, so I hope everyone cuts MJ a little break for handling that piece. Offering one option besides black literally doubles the total number of possible items available, so at some point someone just had to say, “these are the options and that’s it” and it sounds like that’s what MJ has done. Hope that clears things up a little.

Spare’,
Patches are embroidered. I only do screenprinting. But if you pursue it with some place that embroiders, I can provide the graphics files if it’ll help you out.

Skools’,
How’s it going? Last couple times I’ve been down to EI, I’ve been kinda’ lazy. Not so much lazy, but I know that I’ll be running around entertaining my kids and in-laws, so I don’t plan too much fun stuff for myself. But if I go down this year, I’ll see if you’re in town.

Ches how ya doing bud? Glad to see you post again.
Listen I am confused so educate me if you would. MJ initially was going for a black shirt, some including myself suggested another color besides black as, well frankly very few will wear a black TShirt, especially in summer.
So MJ said he was considering a blue shirt with white graphics or a white or gray shirt with blue graphics which everyone seemed much happier with. Especially the gray with blue as we have had in the past.
So after reading your post i still don't understand where we are at, it may be the two glasses of Evan Williams I have had or just old age, but could you straighten me out?

Lol, Willy. Lest I answer under the influence myself of a couple of long pours of Jeremiah Weed, I defer to MJ. I'm pretty sure he will lay it all out in a new thread with the final offerings, pricing and ordering instructions. So consider this thread a preview and don't worry about what's been requested, discussed, etc. The new ordering thread will supercede everything here.

Ches, I used to do some screen printing myself, back in the late 60s, early 70s...and buddy, you are right on about changing colors, etc...that ink is thick and GOOEY!!...doesn't wash outta the screen easily at all...Yuck...You've always come up w/some GREAT LOOKIN' shirts for us here and we all appreciate it more than I can say...it's just that black shirts won't be in keeping w/what this board's been about image wise...any way,THANKS for all you've done...I wear 'em proudly and my daughters wear 'em all around Charleston...peeps down there love 'em!!...
