Default floor paint

i'm going to paint the floor of my boat and a while back i saw a thread that mentioned a specific brand and now i can't find it.anyone remember what it is?
also,if i have several small old screw holes to fill before painting what would be a good product to use?
thanks ahead of time!!

Mine may have been the thread you saw, but I'm not totally impressed with the floor paint I used. I used Interlux Perfection (2 part) with Prime-Kote for my entire deck (everything above the rub-rail), but I used Interlux Brightside (1 part) with Pre-Kote primer and a texture additive for the floors. The 1-part paint is not nearly as durable as the 2-part. It has separated from the primer in a few small areas.

I know a number of guys have used Awlgrip and have been pleased with it. Do a search for it and it should produce a good number of threads...

I used Durabak on my 250 Sportsman floor. It holds up good and i have yet to slip on it. BUT i wish i never put it on my boat. It is hard to clean and right now is absolutely disgusting. I wish i could strip it off and start off new. I would recommend Sherwin Williams Tile-Clad two part epoxy paint. It is tuff as steel. I used it on my splashwell and bilge and love it.

Is it two-part? Overall, I was very heppy with the Interlux products. Especially the product availability at West Marine.

i've always used this oil based paint from Lowes it holds up well and last for yrs plus easy to clean and you can add non skid to it here it is in the 21 i redid and it was still good when the guy just re sold it

http://greensboro.craigslist.org/boa/2265686032.html

i'll look for the picture of the can i keep a couple gallons of it at all time, it comes white i always have it tinted light gray, i use it in my bilge and in the storage hatches.

http://www.wellcraftv20.com/communit...t=5461&page=30

too see it all look at link

well after some work here she is

i sanded the inside floor and washed down then masked off the sides. put the paint in my shaker an added non-skid then put in shaker again, yeah the floor is done see pics what ya think?

Outside

notice i masked around the floor drains as well

Here's the floor hatch painted

installed floor access and 5200'ed

(notice how i notched the floor so the access is flush so it doesn't become a toe stumper)
