sounds like you may hae a damaged prop hub. With the engine off, put the shifter in forward gear, rotate the prop counter clockwise as viewed from the rear till it locks in gear, then apply extra pressure by standing ion the prop blade, if the prop rotates easily, the hub is probably spun out and will need replacing
