I would say yes....After Australia, California is 2nd in high prices on boats. these boats were made in FL on the east coast US....they are much more common and therefore cheaper on the east coast as compared to the West Coast.....I would guess shipping from California would be cheaper though.

that was probably the power steering cooler you saw, was it vertically mounted on the rear port side? The engine oil coller is made into the bottom of the intake manifold on the 4bbl engines, it has external hoses that goo to where hte oil filter is mounted. There may have been some 2 bbl versions with oil coolers, but I've never seen one.

Agreed...and consider you are already planning to rebuild the motor...search for an I/O with a blown motor which will reduce the price considerably..if shipping charges are determined by weight, you might even look for one with no motor at all...there may be more V-20s in Aussie-Land than you suspect...search Google, Craigs List, E-Bay and others...take your time and get a good one...


I don't know the boat, but Dev has one in Boats For sale section right now for a good price...

well i have searched high and low there is one centre console but i dont like them at all i have searched the net for one not many as i thought for sale this is one for sale here

I agree w/you about center consoles...I prefer cuddys myself as well...

Did you see the guy just bought one on ebay for $275...I/O w/a blown motor...see "Taking The Plunge" in this section...

yes that was a good buy ill just have to wait till i speak withv the importer i would really like a turn key one ib but will wait and see
life is too short for all this waiting ****
