CaptPete, Glad to know someone will be close by, looking forward to meeting you.

As for the eats and drinks, I will eat just about anything Spare. I was trying to figure out how you were gonna do a ball game in the morning and still have time to entertain this bunch SAT night. If we have a place to congregate, I can bring the propane cookers and or the grill and do up some fish, low-country boil, chicken, steak, chops you name it. That ought to take some of the load off Spare so he can enjoy some time with the V20 crowd. Just a thought...

for those of you who have not been through a lock it is pretty cool! this is the tallest lock in the us i belive. it is 75 feet from top to bottom. i have been caught in that lock in a bad storm with app 80 boats inside!what a trip.water was coming over the gates when they were closed, and its about six feet or more from the water to the top of the gates!!if they are open it is a esay ride down there and back.

I'm looking forward to meeting you as well. Only a month to go. A fresh coat of bottom paint, some spark plugs and a water seperator and I'm good to go.

If I'm not workin' by then and make it down, I'll bring another cooker for some deep-fryin'...shrimp, hushpuppies and whatever else crawls along...

Wish I could commit to coming, but things up in the air right now...

Hey Spare...is anybody gonna get their boxers inna bunch if some of us Snaggers hoist a beer or three at the marina?...I wouldn't think so, but never know if some rookie lookin to score might show up...
