Oregon Inlet Fishing Report
Sunday We went out of Oregon Inlet to one of my marks in my handheld, nobody there no birds, looked like no action.
As we got near my mark the fish finder went off, we circled out and put out the rods and went back and the first pass we had 3 fish in the boat and 2 more on. We turned and went back (opposite way) on the same track, nothing hit, fish still showing on finder but no bites. Turned went back on same track as first time, all the rods went down. I've had this happen just because you get bites one way doesn't mean they will bite the opposite way. Depends on tide and wind. We caught, caught and caught until we were wore out. Last count was 80 some fish. 4 of us in my buddies boat and we had a ball. 1 time we couldn't leave the rods in the water while we were getting 1 in the boat. We'd look up and the rods would be bouncing. We trolled and when we got tired of that we jigged. Never had another boat come up on us the whole time we were there. We had 2 fish @51lbs, the smallest was 43lbs. My camera's broke 1 of the other guys took some pics, hopefully he'll send them to me.
