Which part number did you order? Did they fit like the originals?

I took mine out, fiberglassed over the broken places, repainted them and put them back in. Looked pretty good up until I sold the boat. Now I've got a "new" V20 and it could use replacement/repairs.

Default I painted mine

The openings on my '82 are so big that I was looking at basically the largest availabe rod boxes I could find. At nearly $200 each, I opted to repair the originals. I'll probably replace them later, but I've got so much work to do right now, I couldn't justify the cost. I glassed behind the cracks and spray painted with an aerosol spray paint made for plastics that required no primer. It was a pretty easy task overall and the results were acceptable.
