I would think some sort of carbuerator cleaner or fuel treatment might be more appropriate???

More humor. . . That is what you meant, right? I just never heard of Sea foam. . . Thought about the filter after the fact and realized that is not likely a problem seen as she runs strong off idle. I will pull the carb and check her out when I get a chance. . . Thanks for the advice. . .sabatoge or not. . .
