Fox 2 Video: Dying girl, 7, taunted by neighbors in Trenton

Kathleen Edward's family knows the 7-year-old is dying. They just don't appreciate the constant reminders from their neighbor in Trenton.

Fox 2 reports Edwards is in the final stages of Huntington's Disease, a degenerative brain disorder which killed her mother, Laura, at the age of 24.

But neighbor Jennifer Lynn Petkov is far from sympathetic, as you can see in the shocking video the right.

Petkov admitted to the television station that she posted images to Facebook depicting the 7-year-old's face above a set of crossbones and the mother in the arms of the grim reaper.

Why?

"Personal satisfaction," she said without apology. "Because it rubs their a---s raw. Burns their a---s."

It's not clear how or when the downriver feud began, but Kathleen's family called police on Thursday complaining Petkov and her husband were taunting the child by attaching a coffin to their pickup truck. Officers responded to the call but made no arrests.

Pektov told Fox 2 she decorated the truck for Halloween, noting it matched decorations at her home on Detroit Street, but neighbor Tana Bowling told a different story.

"Drove it down there in front of her husband's house, opens casket, guns the engine," Bowling said. "They don't care about anybody. I've never met people that have no heart. She told me that she was the devil. That she had no sympathy or empathy for anyone."

Probably a feud that started over a hill of mole dung that got out of hand. The blonde seems to have had one too many energy drinks IMO. What a shame that there are people that would be so openly hurtful to a dying 7 yr old girl. What could you do? Legally, not much I would guess. Let's just say they would be on my short list.

Sickening is right. I do not care what kind of dispute there may have been between the families, to me the worst thing is the facebook posting regarding that poor, innocent child who is dying from a dreadful disease. How unfortunate there are people out there like that woman who proudly states she is doing it to rub their a##es. Makes me want to puke.

if any one did something like that to my family, you'd probably hear about the aftermath on the national news. i didn't even watch the video, just reading the response has gotten me ticked off.

just in case anything like that ever happened to me or mine, i cant tell you what i would do. it could be used against me.
any animal who would stand there and speak like that knowing that there is a little girl in that situation deserves torture. unfortunately we are so civilized that we send police to the house and they do nothing. nobody does anything in this phukking country. the kids father should take a bat to those pieces of sh!t and the cops should make sure they dont get away.

I didn't watch it either...what I've read is enough for me...Ron White (Tater Salad) is wrong..you CAN fix stupid...a bullet to the head of the two Petkov morons would fix it real quick!...
