Default Storm

WE'RE JUST NOW GETTING THE FRONT PART OF THE STORM, WINDS ARE AT 16KTS. RAIN IS SUPPOSE TO START AT 8PM TONITE. EYE WILL BE AT HATTERAS AT MIDNITE TONITE.

I'VE BATTEN DOWN ALL THE HATCHES AND GOT 1 OF THE V IN THE GARAGE AND THE OTHER ON THE LIFT ALL TIED OFF. I GOT "IT'S A BEAUTIFUL THING" UNDER THE LEAN TOO AND MOST OF MY LANDSCAPE EQUIPMENT IN THE 2 GARAGES. 1 SMALL TRACTOR IS OUT IN A OPEN FIELD SO IT WONT GET HIT BY ANY FALLING TREES AND ANOTHER LARGER TRACTOR IS OVER IN ANOTHER COUNTY AT A NEW CONSTRUCTION JOB AND IT'S IN A OPEN FIELD. I HAVE THE REST IN THE GARAGES ALONG WITH MY MOWERS AND TRIMMERS (STILL ON THE TRAILERS).

HOPING EVERYTHING RIDES OUT THE STORM.

Don't worry, Earl is going to visit MJ. Just waving his hand as he goes by.
Hoping everything goes good for y'all that way.

Biggest thing you are gonna have to worry about is the possibility of small spawned tornadoes.

Sorry, meant to help.

You know this year we have had more tornados than the last 10 years combined.

Wind I'm worried about, what we have to worry about when the storm passes is the flooding.

What was that saying for the Jaws movie

"Just when you think it's safe to go back in the water"

Usual biggest problem is the rainfall saturating the root system and the canopy of mature or diseased trees causing them to either break or blow over. There is no good way out, just gotta watch and prepare.
You've seemed to have to have done a good job at that.

How's it going so far?
For some reason I had it in my mind only the beaches would get some appreciable rain. That booger is peeing all the way to Raleigh.
