Ya, your probably right, my 92 is built like a tank, I feel safer in this thing than any other boat in the 20' class I been on. But then I never been on a Whaler, hear lots of hype, but the prices ,wheeeeeewwwwww!!?!?!

The biggest drawback I see is the last 3 feet of the boat is useless for fishing due to the euro style transom. I mean the whole reason they used the built-in bracket in the '92 - '96 V21 was to add more fishing room. They screwed that up big time in my opinion.

To add to that it doesn't look like the same hull at all to me. Where is the infamous flare these boats are known for? Looks like the cookie cutter family cruisers they are popping out a dime a dozen these days.

I kind of like it, but agree with all that it does not provide the cockpit room and looks more like a dime a dozen cuddy. I do like the idea of the steps up to the deck though. I have often thought of adding some sort of step which would hang down from either side of the slider opening to step on to get up on the deck. Anyone done anything like that?
