MJ's right, they are all the patented steplift hull. There is the V20 steplift cuddy, center console and dual console. Then there is the V21 steplift made from, I think, 1992-1996 which is just the V20 steplift with an integrated outboard bracket. Question, did they stop making the I/O model when they started making the V21? Did the V21 come in dual console or center console arrangements?

Also through the years they had what they called the V-20 Sport and V-20 fishermen. Like the guys said though....all V-20's with the same hull.

Check this out http://www.boattrader.com/listing/20...Cuddy-97129705 I had heard they came back with them for a year or 2, don't know how many, and why they did'nt catch on again, same hull. This is the first late model I've seen with the same type design of the V20, everything else is either, CC, Bowrider, or walk around. Man if I only hit Lotto!!! |

Wow, you guys are too old school, c'mon it's just an updated version, with all the gadgets, I love gadgets. Check out them little steps to the bow, no more jumping, handing crap down, anchors up front, 2 fish boxes, a live well, fold down rear seat................ I dunno, kinda like it. But to each his own, if they only made it one year , then I guess my taste is unique LOL

Gadgets = money = cost savings = sacrifice of something. Thin hulls may give better performance due to less weight, but at the cost of durability/longevity. I'm thinking my 79' will still be around when those boats are just a footnote in history.
