I have always had 2wd and never wished for anything else.
My wifes Pilot is 4wd, but its only been in 4wd once when I went down a red mud road that I went down to see if the 4wd worked. If it were me, I'd get the nicer 2wd. But we have nice, non steep ramps here in NC and very little snow.
