Check the deadrise.....V21 = 20 degrees, not 19. I believe the V20's are the same. "Wet anything over 1ft" Balogna! Getting wet has more to do with wind that seas but obviously is derived from the combination of the two. http://www.wellcraftv20.com/gallery/...5_V21_Steplift How many 20 - 21 footers have a 20 degree deadrise at the tranny? Not many that I'm aware.

Yeah, both are definitely 20 degrees...and I loved the way you handled the nay-sayers about gettin wet! I do concur with the one fella who said the part about the front curtain that attaches to the bimin and windshield - with that you will hardly get wet at all in any conditions. I put mine in when heading out any real distance off the beach. Not only does it cut down on getting wet but keeps the wind outta the cockpit and allows for easier conversation on the way to the spot. Not to mention you stay warmer in the early am because there is protection from the wind. If you want to let a little wind thru, remove the center section or just remove all 3 sections and stow in the cuddy. Speaking of which, Reel what do you think about the cuddy on the 21 vs. the cuddy on your '75? Good bit bigger huh? Isn't the helm is further aft also? Which should make the ride a tad better. Wind + water = my two greatest enemies on a boat which is why I have the cuddy and not the CC. Love my windshield.

Mine measured out at 20.5 almost 21 degrees of deadrise right at the stern(my HYDRA is only 18). I think boat set-up is very important as well as with any 20 footer. If the weight is all in the stern then yes it will be a rotten pounding ride, but get it balanced out and that carolina flair goes to work and that deep vee bow will plow through. I try to stay out of THT for the most part as everybody there is so strong opinionated and quick to start a fight.

The wetness also depends on the Capt running the boat.

Roger that. Same goes for pounding too. For example, female captain = very wet and lots of pounding.

Way to fly the flag Reel, Willy, and Blu. I've read some stuff on THT, but never had the desire to join. Seems like a lot of boat show douchebags over there to me, with a few exceptions. P.S. Not to mention where the hell are you gonna find a hull with the qualities of a V20 for the price? Those losers over there can bite me.
