Well to be fair at one point VA honord NC lic but NC did not honor VA's lic. Now neither state honors this and if I'm correct they don't sell NC boat lic. so everyone on the boat must buy a $30 lic wher that $78 is for the boat and anyone that you want to take fishing. Both states are grabbing for money but I feel if NC would have honored Va's lic. none of this would have been an issue. I ran into this with my insurance Lic. a few years back and it was like both states where saying the other state started it. I felt like I was in the middle of two babies fighting over something.
