Yes, these are troubled times. I am back at the company that I started working for in 1979. They layed me off back about 5 years ago, it was pretty tough, but then hired me back. During the 80's we had about 3k people, last year 100 and now we are down to 22 and still dwindling. Not sure if we are ever going to make that corner that keeps looking further away.
Keep on "networking for a job" where ever you go and what ever you do. Always carry a resume or business card. Best of luck to you! rkc
