This years salmon outing

As usual, just before school starts, my son & I head out looking for a salmon or two. We had luck early this morning. Got to try out some new to me electric downriggers. Beats the old hand cranks.

Never did the salmon smoked, though my co-workers bring some in every year. Pretty good, but I have never taken the time to learn how.m
