sounds like your feul supply might be choked off. I've seen a lot of the grey mercury fuel hose go bad with this new ethanol fuel. The inner liner starts to actually break away from the hose and clog up the lines. The best way to troubleshoot any problem is isolate where the problem is. use a known good portable tank and known good fuel line and try to duplicate the problem. If it still happens its on the motor. If the problem goes away its the boat.
