though I understand what you are saying I don't think the reverse is true. the point is not whether he is in a day care place or a hospital or a church or what have you.
the point he is making is that the right to do so is there and does that mean some common sense should be avoided, no, but this post is about a fellow making a statement that had to be made. as a lawman for 32 years I ran into people with guns all the time. in the peoples republic of NJ the only ones who get a permit to carry a concealed weapon are those politically connected ones, the rich and well to do, sort of like what the Statists in the democratic party want the whole country to be. I would run into regular people frequently who stuck a pistol in their pocket for protection when they were in risky areas, or they had to carry money for their buisiness or were on the road a lot. I would check them out and I would send them on their way. If the powers to be realized I and many other cops did that we would be charged and terminated. The point is someone is standing up and making a statement. good for him. actually good for all of us. Do I want to see a situation in which people are all walking around with guns slung over their shoulder, no, do I think there may be times when it is needed, ABSO****INLUTLEY. and will I defend the right of every American to do it? see above
