What do you catch up there?

Well, i think we have to be in the same group as everyone is. No matter where we live. As an angler, we pratice our passion everywhere we can. For my side, i will go to the great lake ( Ontario lake ) Maine, ( Casco Bay ) even if i live in Quebec.

You wrote '' What do you catch up there ''

Lake trout, Northen Pike, Walleye, Rainbow trout, Landlock salmon , Chinook salmon, and i will go to the Casco Bay in Maine for the bluefin Tuna this year.

you would have nothing on anyone as you win by the % of the record of the fish you catch.

So if you catch Pike up there and the biggest on record is 100 pounds and you catch a 10 pounder you got 10% of you record fish. The person that catches the biggest % of the fish in there state or country wins.

So you see no matter were you live you need to catch the biggest fish you can in your species. So some one that catches a 3 pound Blue Gill could beat some one with a 200 pound Tuna.

Jean, can you find the provincial fishing records for Quebec online anywhere? I tried but could not. Maybe you'll have better luck searching in French??
