Default New V20 owner

Just bought a 1993 V20 with Yahmaha 150 outboard. This boat belonged to a friend so I am familiar with it. Seems to run great and looks great. Recently the battery charge light started flashing. Also the bilge pump stopped working. Any thoughts?

Nice! Welcome. Drop some pics in here.

Others can probably comment on the items you need help with.

Welcome, probably unrelated, just two issues to address. If they are related you could have a short to ground in the system.
Usually that light would indicate a battery not putting out enough voltage. Or a bad intermittent connection. Check condition of cables, clean and tighten connections.
Unscrew and remove bildge pump and check terminal connections, if it is in good condition and fairly new take it apart and clean it out. If not just replace it, they are inexpensive enough to not trust it too a old pump.

one is the access to your fittings and pick up tube and lines to your motor along with your valve to shut off fuel from tank. the other forward should be your fill and vent hoses going into the tank from the gunnel on the starboard side of the boat

The two round hatches were designed by the manufacturer for the sole purpose of rotting the deck within 20 years, forcing the owner to buy a new boat.

If they didn't do that, it would be like making light bulbs that won't burn out....the light bulb companies would go out of business eventually.
