Just wanted to say welcome to my good friend and 1st mate FlyFishin!! Me and FlyFishin have been kickin it for over 2 decades.

I'm glad you finally joined up Fly! Now you are gonna have to post up some of those big ol bream you've been catching on the fly in the sawmill pond.

Jean, he hasn't tried the fly in the salt yet but we've been talking about it. I think he'll need to upgrade his rod/reel in order to do so. Big difference b/t the pond and the BIG salty pond!

Man that would be fun to get some Spanish on a topwater fly...or topwater trout bite.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. I took my nine year old son fishing yesterday evening, let him bring in a small bass on the fly rod. Top water was hot @ sunset. Nothing better than the smile on his face while fishing.

That kid has caught more fish by age 9 than all other 9 year olds combined! Congrats to Fyl Jr.

I'm very jealous since the last time we went to the sawmill pond the evening bite never materialized....but I got a couple a nice pics out of it!

We'll have to try again soon.
