reasons for low rpms on v8 chryslers

gentlemen, believe you are right in max rpms, will check with mechs, have to idle at 900 so as not to stall when docking. bottom cks out ok, originally had idle set at 600, but would stall, when going into gear, cleaned gas tank, new filters, she should be alright, going to do a compression ck to see valve status, any other cks would appreciate. thank you! richard
