My Daughter Finished her Boat!

Refreshing your memory: my ten year old girl asked, for her birthday, "to build a kid-sized rowboat with Daddy." Too good a project to pass up. On the side, I carved her her own set of oars. The pictures show her receiving the oars, then launching the "Phoenix" for its maiden voyage. The plans came from Hannu's Boatyard website. It's a great site. Anyone messing with building their own stuff ought to get familiar with the "Hull" program, as well. Here' the plan we used:

hey find a copy of these books they will help alot on boat building and repairs. love my copies lol
