Don't worry about drivin' this crowd nuts...most of us are already there... you hit on the problem of rod boxes with the location of the saddle-tanks, however, in my '74 I can see where there would be space for hod-holders attached horizontally forward of the tanks...open holders, not boxes...no doubt it would be a trick to attach to such a curve as exists inside the hull at that point, but w/some imagination, it's certainly doable
