When I purchased the boat I took it to a shop that I know the same afternoon and they will be putting a 150hp 1997 evinrude on her and doing away with the 140 gas guzzlers. Hopefully that will eliminate some weight, I will look it over and see if I can just clean up the inside or roll a coat of gelcoat over it when I get it back.

Post up some pictures when you can...we'd like to see some before and afters...I do remember Havis' twin 140s...good luck w/your new toy and keep us posted on what you do with 'er...
