Mounting electronics

I took a piece of lexan, cut a strip about 3 1/2 inches widw and probably 14 inches long, clamped it between two boards and clamped a third piece on the end sticking out. I took a heat gun and heated it till it bent 90 degrees from it's own weight. I drilled mounting holes for my gps mount and secured it to the side on my console. I drilled a hole thru both and installed a power outlet (polarized plug) to power it up. works pretty well for only a couple of bucks.
