Default Steering arm

The steering arm on my 1989 johnson 175 has all but rusted off. Does anyone know where I can get a new one to replace it? I'm not very good with outboards.

And cheaper. The steering arm by itself is around $300 new, and used ones that are good go for almost as much.

chip off all loose rust then take a pic let us see how bad the arm really is. it may look worst than it is, if you get all the loose rust off then kill the rust you may be ok for a little while.

Replacing it is (usually) gonna be a big deal.
Good chance every bolt associated with removal of stuff to get to the stuff for the replacement of the arm is gonna wring off.
