I am planning on using this on mine also. I will use polyester resin as the glue to secure it in place.
If any one thinks this is a bad idea please let me know and I will not go this route, this just a thought for now.

Wouldn't the insulation inside an engine compartment need to be flame-proof?... ...I would think an engine mfgrs ' LIABILITY would be hangin' out about 3 miles if they used a flammable material

Overtons, Boaters World, West all have replacement kits...
