Finally got my package from my original post. Quality of the goods looks good, not quite excellent. The rod holder liner/cap is not the rubber that I have used before, seems kind of stiff, plasticy... The packaging was horrible, some of the larger items were in a bubble pack sleeve, most small things were dumped into the package loose. after close inventory, everything arrived on the list. Good thing they used lots of tape on the outer packaging!

They also sent me some extra screws, M8 X 1" They are a flathead SS with a head O.D. of 5/8" (#3 Phillips) http://www.marinepartdepot.com/fastners.html
If anyone needs any thing that large (and short), I'll mail 'em to you, no charge.

That was a good question, since I never gave it a thought... I just checked them and I would say they are 45 deg. They sell screws on a separate place on their site. I got M6 X 1". Takes 3 per holder. They do come with a rubber gasket to go under the flange. Good luck.
