Hammer, you're right. He said as much in the ad: "there has been some fiberglass added to the transom"
If all he did was cover over an issue, could be a problem. But if he simply chose to reinforce it, could be good... I do like it though...

He must have added one foot to the transom, because the boat in the pic is a 17' Wellcraft. precursor to the 18' like Kajuns.
