Default Got a new toy

It started off as a fishing/drinking trip and then I bought a jet ski. These things are some work. I was still sore this morning from riding on Monday. It seems to have been well kept but the bottom is scared so I might have to have some of yall teach me about fiberglass repair and painting. First I have to learn how to ride it so I don't sink it.

Skools is gonna be all over you when he sees that. He loves those older standup jetski's. I don't know if some of the info was lost during the migration to the new website format, but he did have pics and info posted a while back. You might want to do a search to see if you can find it.

I have gone through four stand-ups, they are a ton of fun and an incredible work out.... Sit downs get boring after a couple of 360 spins.

Good luck, she looks real nice, I would put another bilge in her with a manual switch mounted on the handle bars (one you have to press to run), if someone hasn't done so already.

First time I ever rode one was a standup, they're awesome. You know everything "retro" is the thing now.

I know Kawasaki and Yamaha still make stand-ups, because I always toy with the idea of buying one. About $6500 for Kawa, not sure about the Yama...

I got rid of ski number four about 8 years ago....and don't know when I would get the time to ride on now, my two daughters take up all my time....very good trade off.

I will be installing another bilge. Got an extra 500 gph rule laying around.

This thing has something ridiculous like 6:1 compression. Might have to fix that being that I'm no little shrimp.

Seems standups are making a come back. They are making new ones again. Once sit downs turned into boats I lost interest in them. I've seen sit downs set up for flats fishing. They can run really shallow once going. They're usually used just for transportation and then the rider wades.
